LOWER THE PINCH POINT, HIGHER THE E.G.B EFFICIENCY AND IS ACHIEVED BY HAVING A HIGHER HEAT SURFACE AREA. BUT LARGER AREA LEAD TO LOWER GAS VELOCITY. IT CAUSES MORE SOOT DEPOSITION ON E.G.B TUBES AND IS MAIN REASON FOR SOOT FIRE.
MINIMUM 35 M/SEC AND PRESSURE DROP ACROSS E.G.B NOT MORE THAN 150 MM OF WATER GAUGE.
