MC ENGINE VS MC-C ENGINE

  1. MC-C ENGINE IS COMPACT.
  2. MC-C OUTPUT PER CYLINDER IS MORE.
  3. MC-C HAS INCREASED STROKE TO BORE RATIO.
  4. TURBOCHARGER HAS BETTER EFFICIENCY IN MC-C.
  5. MC-C POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO IS MORE.
  6. MC-C ENGINE LENGTH IS REDUCED BY ABOUT 1000 MM.
  7. MC-C ENGINE HAS OVAL SHAPE PISTON CROWN WHICH PROVIDE  LARGER AREA IN THE CROWN SURFACE FOR STRENGTH AND BETTER COOLING.
  8. COOLING WATER INLET IS HIGHER I.E NO COOLING WATER CHAMBER IN   MC-C.
  9. GUIDE SHOE IN MC-C IS CONNECTED TO LUBE OIL CONNECTION.
  10. COMBINE SUCTION AND PUNCTURE VALVE IN FUEL PUMP WITH UMBRELLA SEAL IN MC-C ENGINE.
  11. MC-C HAS OROS PISTON WITH HIGH TOPLAND AND CPR TOP RING AND ALU COATED LOWER RINGS.
  12. EXHAUST VALVE HAS W SEAT IN MC-C ENGINE.
  13. PRE-CATCHER GUIDE PLATE FOR WATER MIST CATCHER IN MC-C ENGINE.
  14. IN MC-C STAY BOLTS ARE CONNECTED TO TOP OF BEDPLATE HENCE REDUCING DEFORMATION OF BEARING HOUSING AND ELIMINATING FRETTING IN BEARING SADDLE.
  15. SHORTER STAY BOLTS AND 4 TIE ROD AT BOTH ENDS IN MC-C ENGINE.
